Local Library Visit

Year 2 and 3 had the opportunity to visit our local library this week.

"What a lovely morning! A gentle stroll through the locality, reaching a very well stocked, pleasant, welcoming library where we were greeted by the friendly librarian Clare. She told us about all the books we could look at together - this we then did with children slouched down in comfortable huddles sharing books - a great image!

Mr Harley and I then read two beautiful picture books about friendship and love to the beautifully behaved class before we walked back smiling! Thank you to the Y2 Team - a perfect trip!
